Komedia It's easy to forget just how lucky we are in Brighton... Komedia has just been refurbished and we now have two sizeable theatre and cabaret venues, a bar and a cafe right in the heart of the North Laine. Fantastic!
Bar...	Brighton Tavern What a pleasure to have such a friendly local! I miss Jamie getting nearly naked on a Tuesday.
	Barcode Vauxhall, London Oooh... loving what's happening down in Vauxhall. Bar Code is deceptively big, and quite gorgeous! With four areas to choose from (the front bar, the dancefloor, the middle bar and a chill-out room overlooking the dancefloor), it's not surprising it's always heaving!
Club...	Candy Bar Soho, London Strictly speaking this is one for the ladies, but I've always found it very welcoming and aaaalways a great atmosphere down there.
Hotel...	Princess on Portland, Manchester The Princess is a very easy place to recommend! Friendly, welcoming staff, lovely comfortable rooms, a great bar and bistro to wine and dine and a gorgeous hot breakfast that leaves no room for lunch! My home from home when I'm in Manchester!
Personality...	Boogaloo Stu There's nothing quite like a dose of Boogaloo Stu on a Thursday night.
Service...	Food Solutions Partnership It was all I could do to leave Kate's cakes on the plate long enough to photograph them... yum!
	The Brighton Buddhist Centre An oasis of calm in bustling Brighton! Highly recommend their beginners meditation courses, as well as the drop-in classes.
	Natural Balance Therapies There can be few things in the world more relaxing than having the week's troubles massaged away by Mark! He's also worked wonders on my sore back... but that wasn't quite as relaxing to have treated!
	Hot Village, Manchester Pocketsized and full of info for the coming month of partying! The perfect partner in print for REALManchester!
	Buzz Vans - Removals & Delivery Aaaah... great to see BuzzVans on REALBrighton! Used their services a few years ago and thought they were great... highly recommended.
Shop...	Punktured They inflict pain on you and charge you for the experience. But they do it so well! If you've ever had an urge to put some metal through your skin then stop in and have a chat to them! I have a feeling I'll be back for more soon.
Things To Do...	West Pier & i360 I know it's crumbling into the sea and is a complete eyesore - but somehow Brighton just won't be quite the same when it goes... if it ever goes!
	Gay Pride Maspalomas, Gran Canaria It does seem a bit strange to be partying in the middle of an island in a shopping centre rather than on the coast... but once you've got over this it's really rather a good laugh! And you can obviously still make the trip to the beach if you want to get away from the mayhem.
