Call me sad, but I *love* Eurovision. Call me sad again, but I even have notes in my diary for important Eurovision dates.
One of those notes has been reminding me to regularly check the BBC's website for the release of tickets to Making Your Mind Up, the song selection programme. It goes without saying that I've been doing so religiously.
So imagine my frustration when I heard Terry Wogan talking about it this morning and discovered that they had somehow snuck the tickets past me. Yes, at some point in the last 24 hours, the tickets were released - and all used up before I had the chance to say pink skin-tight latex.
Botheration of the highest order.

apparently this is the line up for the make your mind up!
read moreis likely to sing his X Factor hit "It's Chico Time." Viewers will vote for a winner next month on the BBC1 show "Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up" An insider said: "The Competition this year, is fierce."

The ex-stripper and former Moroccan goatherd takes on fellow reality TV act Liberty X, Atomic Kitten cutie Natasha Hamilton, up and coming performers DJ Daz and four-piece new boyband Four Story.
Chico, 34, who now lives in South London, ...
Terry Wogan announced live on BBC Radio 2 that "It would be absolutely mad for Chico to be up for the United Kingdom". He also added, "But obviously with the acts that are entered for Eurovision normally from other countries, Chico could have a good chance of winning for us!"
Who do you think would have a good chance of representing the UK this year???
Chico Slimani, Liberty X, Natasha Hamilton, DJ Daz or Four Story?

I'm not sure people in other countries would understand Chico - not that many do here... anyway, isn't he about to release Chico Time? That would mean it couldn't be entered anyway.
Personally I like new acts giving it a go rather than tired old ones that haven't had any work recently. Me?! Harsh!? ;o)

Maybe they'll pull Lisa Scott Lee out the barrel again this year? She's perfect eurovision material!
