The three hairdressing stations have been imported from Italy and not only look fabulous, but are supremely comfortable... forget nipping in to Freddie's for a short back and sides, and relax into your hair appointment with a shampoo and scalp masssage and perhaps a little espresso - all part of the service.

The back of the salon is home to a cosy little purpose built treatment room where you can experience everything from back cleansing, massages, detox facials, hair removal (don't be shy now!) and even hypnotherapy. All of Spruce's staff are incredibly experienced which means you can discuss your individual manly or womanly needs with people in the know... within reason of course! Take along your shaving troubles, problem skin or bad hair days, or just treat yourself to a massage or three.

Spruce is headed up by top international stylist Johan van der Merwe who has a wealth of experience and although not one to name-drop, if he's good enough for Dennis Quaid then he's good enough for me! His aim was to create a salon where discerning men and women would leave looking good and feeling great... We'll let you be the judge, but we think he's cracked it!

Spruce Grooming, Brighton, is delighted to announce that it now offers its simple and stylish hair and skin care treatments to women, as well as men.

Spruce opened in 2006 as a haven for men, offering high-end hair styling and beauty treatments, as well as holistic and hypnotherapies. After two years of successfully building its reputation as a premier, friendly grooming salon, owner Johan van der Merwe, has decided it’s time to expand.
