See one of your favourite seafront venue turned into the Emerald City as the outside goes green! Special cabaret with Lola Lasagne, Connie Conway, Cassidy Connors, Billie Lewis & more. The bar staff will be dressed as Dorothy and there will be more Wizard of Oz shenanigans. Great Prizes to be won and all money raised will go to ADCAF & Pride 2008 times: Bar open 11am to 4am. Summer Pride Walk and Picnic @ Corner of Eastern Road & Walpole Road, Brighton An enjoyable 7 mile walk taken at a relaxing pace – up to the Racecourse, across the downs to Rottingdean. Pause for a picnic lunch, then return via the Undercliff Path and Volks Railway into Brighton, or alternatively take the bus back from Rottingdean. times: Meet at the corner of Eastern Road & Walpole road at 11am. door tax: Free. Funded by a Pride grant. £2 for Volks Railway. |

Pride Cabaret Benefit @ Legends Bar, Brighton Laquisha Jonz and Dolly Rocket host this marathon of top cabaret entertainment, all to benefit Pride in Brighton & Hove 2008 - just a few days away! A top lineup is expected throughout the day, including Lola Lasagne, Dave Lynn and Lady Imelda with many more and the show running from 3.15pm right through til 11pm. Special Pride Garden Party @ Montpellier Hall, Brighton A special afternoon of antiques, cocktails, afternoon tea, BBQ, music and glamour. To start the afternoon celebrity antique dealers Mark Stacey (Cash in the Attic) and Simon Schneinder (Dickinson's Real Deal) will be hosting a ‘Bring your antiques for valuation’ between 3pm-7pm. Each valuation will cost £5 (all to Pride) and afternoon tea will be available on the terrace. Then from 7pm a delicious BBQ, cocktails, performance by Miss Fake Bush and a host of glamour and surprises in the garden. This beautiful grade II listed villa was completed in 1849 and is the last late regency italianate villa in the centre of Brighton. A stunning garden and villa, it is also reported to be haunted!
