There's no doubt that The PV has become a firm favourite on the Brighton scene - so much so that's it's moved from it's original location up by the clock tower to Brighton's gay village.

With a regular quiz in the week, occasional live music and resident DJs at the weekends, it's managed to perfect a great mixed atmosphere whether you're gay, straight or whatever.

A traditional pub on the outside and surprisingly swish-hotel-bar-like on the inside, you'll find visitors and locals either propping up the bar in deep conversation, or taking to the chairs and 'leatherette' banquettes putting the world to rights. There's a weekly quiz, special offers to look out for and weekends with occasional live music and resident DJs to keep things interesting.

Guv'nors, Nicki and Gill and their great team work hard to make everyone feel special and comfortable - so whether you're looking to stop by on your bar hop around town or just to settle in for the day or night (or both in some cases), it's a welcome addition to the scene.

Fans of The PV's infamous Sunday lunches only have a few weeks to wait before the new kitchen swings into action and huge plates of your favourite Sunday roasts are being handed out to an avid crowd - and there's sure to be something scrummy on the menu throughout the week too - watch this space!

We think that this is a little gem and in it's new home it provides a warm and friendly welcome to everyone in the 'village'.
