What a bloody good idea. A national pride that allows students from around the country to get together and enjoy a day of entertainment.

The 2006 event was a day of two halves... From 3pm to 9pm there were various free events including a political discussion, a bouncy castle, a Jamaican BBQ, a chocolate fountain (keep me away!), the bar (obviously), stalls from student LGBT groups, competitions, Student idol karaoke and live music. The political/religious discussion panel gave us speakers such as Peter Tatchell, Sue Sanders, Linda Bellos and Paul Patrick.

The day closed with a huge club night from 9pm to 2am... with a line-up that included Lorraine, Mz Fontaine, Switch 22, Al Start, Avitas, Vacancy and various drag acts including Sandra and Fleyrettes... we also got to gawp at the Gay UK boys as well of course... the 2006 event was run in association with Gaydar.co.uk, puffta.co.uk, Oxford Brookes Students Union, Cloud 9 and the Nightingale club.
