Pride Seeks New Trustees
Thursday, 26th August 10
Pride in Brighton & Hove is a registered charity managed by a voluntary board of up to fourteen Trustees. As a trustee you will make decisions that will determine the future of the charity and have responsibility for ensuring Pride fulfils its charitable objectives and other legal obligations. The Board of Pride in Brighton & Hove sits once a month but the commitment and time required from Trustees is a great deal more.
Following a challenging year Pride is looking to recruit individuals willing to serve as trustees, representing the broad range of views within the community, but also prepared to contribute their own ideas, skills and expertise to shape a new future for Pride in Brighton and Hove. Individuals should be committed, passionate about Pride and the local community, as well as prepared to communicate options and decisions for the charity with the many interested parties.
Pride aims to have a board that represents the diversity of the community and welcomes applications from everyone, especially those with fundraising experience, local LGBT business owners, and people with experience of the LGBT community/voluntary sector, or those with personal experience of the Trans or BME communities.
