Trustees have the legal responsibility for ensuring Pride fulfils its charitable objectives and other legal obligations. The Board sits each month throughout the year. Company Secretary, Keith Kemp says, "We are particularly looking for people who can fill some of the gaps in skills and experience of the current board. Applications would be especially welcomed from people with business experience or personal experience of the transgender community, communities or access needs. These are voluntary roles with many Trustees regularly giving several hours a week to the charity and the work it carries out. Pride Operations Manager reports, "Without people who are prepared to take on the responsibility of becoming a trustee the parade, park and everything else we do would not be able take place. It can be hard work but is very rewarding.
