Pride is delighted to announce the appointment of its new Director, Lesley

new era.

the Ladies’ Golf Union, where she was highly successful at income generation,
securing new money from global brands through corporate social responsibility
opportunities sponsorship, building brand equity and creating new relationships.
Previously Lesley worked as a Director for Sport England. Her other positions have
included being National Project Manager of the Barclaycard charity programme
‘Free Kicks’ and responsibility for a portfolio of National Projects for the
English Sports Council.
Lesley said “Pride is about making a difference…now building on what has been achieved we need to look at the ‘what we do next’ to continue to make an even greater difference! This is an invigorating yet challenging time for Pride and I am honoured to able to play my part in Pride’s future”.
Josh Mills, Chair of Pride said “Having made the festival and parade a great success there is huge potential for Pride to do more work in the local community and elsewhere to break down prejudice and tackle discrimination. We want to make our events more accessible and more diverse, so that the huge range of people and interests that exist within the LGBT community within Brighton and Hove always feel included and involved. Appointing someone of Lesley’s experience is fantastic as with her business background she is just the right person to lead us into and through what promises to be very exciting new times for Pride Brighton & Hove”.
