Pride seeks new Trustees

Tuesday, 15th September 09

Pride in Brighton & Hove is a registered charity managed by a voluntary board of up to fourteen Trustees. As a trustee you will make decisions that will determine the future of the charity and have responsibility for ensuring Pride fulfils its charitable objectives and other legal obligations. The Board of Pride in Brighton & Hove sits once a month but the commitment and time required from Trustees is much more.

Yvonne Barker, Chair of Pride, said, “Pride aims to have a board that represents the diversity of the community, made up of Trustees that contribute complimentary skills to those of the existing team. We welcome applications from everyone, especially those with fundraising experience, local LGBT business owners or people with experience of the LGBT community/voluntary sector; also anyone with personal experience of the trans or BME communities.”

Deadline for applications: Friday 16th October 2009

Interviews will take place week commencing Monday 2nd November 2009.

To apply please download the application form and guidance notes.
