If Brighton is widely known as the gay capital of the UK, then Revenge must be its big gay cathedral. Over the years Revenge must have been the first gay club that many thousands of aspiring LGBTers have visited, and - well - it's easy to see why. Popular with residents and an obvious attraction for visitors to gay Brighton, Revenge hasn't rested on its laurels...

The club is now spread over three floors - two dancefloors, two bars and a gorgeous roof top smoking terrace with covered space for those occasional rainy nights. The upstairs dancefloor has been kitted out with the very latest LED lighting which has to be seen to be believed… truly awe inspiring! Obviously a great lighting system needs great music to bring it to life, and Revenge isn't short of a tune with some of country's best residents on rotation and big name DJ guests regularly making an appearance. Get your hands in the air!

The first floor generally provides a lighter touch in terms of music, usually playing commercial/pop and usually packed to the rafters with bouncing clubbers. As well as a line-up of top resident DJs (Gaydar Radio's Alex Baker being a regular treat) you can expect live PAs to take to the stage as well. Revenge has, for the last few years, played host to the very first gig for most of the X-Factor finalists after they leave the TV show - a chance to get up close and personal with the acts that the whole country are talking about!

It's also worth nothing that as well as providing a safe space for LGBT partygoers to have fun in Brighton, Revenge has raised thousands for worthy causes over the years. Marvellous!
