Presented by The Community Involvement Team, The Village Street Party 2008 takes place on the Saturday and Sunday of the big Pride weekend in Brighton.
The streets will be closed as revellers celebrating the Pride Festival in the city that weekend descend on St James Street to keep the party spirit going. Outside bars and extended licences are arranged at many of the venues in the area and there'll be food outlets open during the party and a sound system will be keeping the soundtrack consistent along the streets.
