about me:

... I'm a 21 year old dancer/choreographer. I've recently graduated from the Laban Centre, London and after an awesome summer of catching up with nearest and dearest, exploring Italy, eating a little too much ice cream and boogytastic times, I have moved to Brighton to do a dance PGCE and to meet some fantastic new people down here...

(...to see me have a wee look at http://www.myspace.com/dancinggraeme)

I adore my friends and it's definately true that the small things in life make us happy. I am loyal, loving and lush in life generally...

My career and Dance is what I am all about, so make your selves comfy as I share with you a little info...

My dance background has been varied, training in classical, commercial and somatic techniques. I have already worked with many famous dance artists. I teach freelance with the I.D.T.A, and idependently. I have also completed dance work in the community, dance/arts institutes and vocational training, as well as assisting the coordination of wider community dance projects.

I have a major passion for choreography. I am currently establishing my own company, titled 'WindowDance'...

I specialise in creating commercial-contemporary dance works to be performed in shop window spaces, galleries, launch parties, bars and events...truly avant-garde

'...a blend of intricate gestures and moving images, cemented with dynamic precision to capture an indefinable oddity'.

My choreographic talents have led me to create pieces tailored for window displays that have captivated passers by. I have also created dance film work- either as part of performance installations or as a separate body of work. My works been screened in various art exhibitions, including London's first regular dance film event at Roxy Bar and Screen, featuring the work of international artists), I have since created a new piece based with 'burlesque nuns', titled 'Sometimes we need a pantomime to remind us what is real' (as featured in TimeOut magazine).

Always looking to meet 'shiny...happy' people....
