real city network newsplease login to add to this item ![]() Rain stops playMonday, 23 July 2007 Apologies are due to all those who tried to access Real City Network sites this morning. Unfortunately the temporary network black-out was due to circumstances beyond our control. Our data centre is located in Gloucester... and it seems that Gloucester is largely under water! Our data centre itself was not in danger of being flooded and backup generators have ensured that power outages have not affect our servers directly. However there were still a few connectivity issues that left the data centre temporarily cut off from the rest of the world which is why you may not have been able to access the sites earlier today. Our heartfelt thanks go to those who did manage to make it in to work in Gloucester today and helped get everything back on its feet despite the downpour. It must be hell out there... your commentssaid by wildblood And taking climate change seriously too!

I think it's about time we started raising money for these people - the effects are devastating up there.
