The 2008 Good Food Guide recently hit the shelves offering their even-handed and expert opinion about the best places to eat in the UK. The Gingerman @ Drakes achived 6 out of a possible 10, the highest score in Brighton, and tied for the top two restaurants in all of East & West Sussex.

The Guide went on to say, “In just a few short years, Ben McKellar’s restaurant in the basement of the ultra-chic Drakes Hotel, opposite the seafront on Marine Parade, has become established as the number one choice for fine dining in Brighton.
