(no name)... restaurant and bar handed over a cheque for £2500 to the Sussex Beacon last Wednesday 31st August as a result of their fundraising Fake Bush Charity Night in February.

A staggering 90% of the ticket sales on the night went directly to the charity - amazing when you consider that those ticket prices also included a whole three-course meal. We reported back in February that the night had raised (with the raffle and auction) a great big £1800. With the generosity of Manager, Gary Copleston, and his team and contributions from his customers, he has managed to swell the total to the £2500.
