Terraces give Sunday Sundae thumbs down
Wednesday, 14 May 2008
Aeon Events, organisers of Sunday Sundae, Wild Fruit and other big dance events in Brighton, today announced that Sunday Sundae will no longer be held at Terraces:
"After three fantastic parties at The Terraces it was felt by the owners that a dance based event such as Sunday Sundae was not appropriate for their restaurant venue and did not sit well with their wedding/function image.
We would like to offer our sincere thanks to the management and staff of The Terraces who have made such a fantastic effort on behalf of Sunday Sundae.
On a brighter note, Sunday Sundae will return to its spiritual home at Audio for a ‘Welcome home’ double floor special edition of Brighton’s brightest Sunday social occasion on Sunday 1st June and every Sunday throughout the season thereafter proving that Sunday Sundae always keeps you on your toes and never gives up!"
A spokesman for Audio said "We are thrilled to welcome back our favourite crowd to Audio and look forward to a great summer of Sunday Sundae parties!"

Do we know the REAL reason behind this announcement? Is anyone prepared to let the cat out of the bag? I wonder what the new management of Terraces are up to: a couple of days before the Sunday Sundae launch at Terraces, we turned up for dinner on a Friday evening at 9pm only to be told they were closing for the evening because they didn't have any customers... Now this... Do these people actually want to make any money?
