Homophobic Attack

Thursday, 15 May 2008

On Saturday 3rd May a serous homophobic attack took place in the George Street area of Kemp Town at about 9.45pm. Did you see a group of 6 or 7 teenage males in sportswear in the area that night? If so Sussex Police want to hear from you.

The man who was attacked walked through the group and had homophobic abuse directed at him, was spat at repeatedly, forced to the ground and kicked. One member of the group was wearing a hooded top and another was wearing white three quarter length track suit bottoms with a navy stripe.

If you have any information please call 0845 60 70 999 and ask for DC Valder-Davis or the Police LGBT Liaison Officer Nick Antjoule to talk about it with no obligation.
