So if you fancy yourself as a singer, a drag artiste, comic, juggler or clown - pick up the entry form from Charles Street - they want to see you! Their heat is on Sunday 24th May so make sure you get your entry in to guarantee your place! The rules are simple: you need to be an amateur act and your routine must be at least ten minutes in length. Simple. Prizes include a contract to perform at all participating venues - worth an estimated £1,225. You'll also get a three night stay at the Amsterdam Hotel over Brighton's Pride weekend, a meal for two at Balans in London and tickets to see the new West End show, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. The show starts just after the Cabaret and it's bound to be a night of musicality and hidden talent! |
