business newsBlack & White Masked Christmas BallMonday, 4 December 2006 With just days to go now until Brighton’s most glittering festive event, there are still a few chances not to miss out. Most of the Silver Table Service places have now gone, but revellers are being offered the Premium Package at just £49. This is fantastic value for what is set to be a sensational party and Premium Ticket holders will receive a complimentary welcome drink, a free buffet, the chance to see some of the best names on the cabaret circuit (with the award-winning Tina C and the fabulous vocal talents of X-Factor’s Rowetta - not to mention Brighton's hostesses with the mostesses, Lola Lasagne and Dolly Rocket). In addition to that, the Wild Fruit resident DJs will be joined by renowned guests DJ Paul Heron and DJ Tallulah. If that wasn’t enough, there is free transport available to and from Vavoom Bar to the incredible Stanmer House venue and free parking on-site. You will also have free entry to the official after party at Monkey from 2am to 5am. The Black & White Ball is going to be an incredible night and already a staggering £25,000 has been put into the staging of it. In addition to the beautiful setting of Stanmer House, a huge marquee will be built outside – with fuil lighting and sound in both areas. All profits of the event will go towards the new Brighton AIDS Memorial, so you'll be contributing to a cause, close to the hearts of many in Brighton. The theme (Black & White, in case you hadn't noticed...) lends itself well to the fancy dress element and everyone is already planning their outfit for the night – whether it’s leather, sequins, drag or just plain, unadulterated glamour. Reminiscent of the huge circuit parties held in the States, this is something that Brighton has been crying out for (we know, we read the messages sent in), and is finally here in Brighton. Whether you’re L, G, B, T, young, old or you're in a class of your own – it’s an absolute must. We’ll see you there - after all, anyone who is anyone is going! Tickets are available from Ticketweb, Dome Box Office (01273 709709, The Hub (Formerly Café 22), Clone Zone Brighton or you can call 01273 327083.
