Hey guys,
For a while now in Brighton, friday nights have been a bit quiet...especially considering everyone has just finished work for the week and wants to go out and party. Well...Charles Street Club has got this new night on called Revo and its absolutely amazing. Im a regular clubber at Monkey and any Wildfruit night coz I love the music that they play and the great atmosphere there. Many other nights have tried to match it but to me, the music has never been up to scratch. The music at Revo is absolutely amazing. Its the dirtiest, fucky/electro house that you will here in Brighton. Many places advertise this sort of music and you just end up hearing the same tunes that you've heard for the past 6 months. DJ Tom Logan plays dynamic, fantastic new mixes of the best sexy electro house, and would almost go as far to say that he's the best DJ in Brighton. Even completely sober (as I was last night) you can't help yourself but to get on the dancefloor.
Its on every Friday, and if your a fan of Wildfruit/Monkey etc you have to try it...you will not be disappointed and I can guarantee that it will become your regular friday night out.
Anyway...if I can finish work early I will see you all at Monkey.

sound good, but the only thing that puts me off about the idea is "the club" itself. its just a bit of a naff venue really which is why i think it doesnt really have that many successful nights there. i think its in need of a major re design. its just like a big room with nothing really in it :S

read moreter to me where I'm listening to it. The scene over the past few months has got, dare I say it...boring! This is mostly due to the fact that there doesnt seem to be any variety in where we can go and have a gd time, its always the same venues on the same nights. Im really hoping that Revo will change that, and kickstart the scene into action again!

Oh and another thing, I also would like to point out that on the 22nd of this month, is going to be a big night for Revo. Mike van Loon, one of the chief Hed Kandi DJs is coming all the way over from Holland to DJ in our fair city. Considering there currently seems to be a lot of blogs on this websi...

Its amazing abut the changes in Charles Street lately and I never thought that one year on from the slump that occurred there, that we would be getting fantastic offerings from this place. It isn't the best venue, but lately they sure know how to make the best of what they have.
