Its a big family Christmas and you're stuck for things to do on Christmas Eve. With a few phone calls, I had Mum, Dad, Bruv 1 and Bruv 2, plus Bruv 2's girlfriend pushed into a taxi and on our way to the Fountain...

Ahhh, the tradition of it all - drinks around the Christmas tree, wild speculation on the size of Santa's sack, Lola Lasagne entertaining...

With gay boys in Crimbo hats, drag queens festively festooned, lesbian laydees in the holiday mood and straight couples a little wide-eyed at it all, this was a great start to Christmas. And we haven't even started on the unstoppable Fountain hospitality.

Now... back to the jokes about Christmas Logs.

The Fountain Inn has established itself as one of the favourite local pubs in the Crawley & Gatwick area with a truly mixed crowd of regulars - both gay and straight. In the picturesque surroundings of Handcross - a charming Sussex Village, from the outside you'd be forgiven in thinking it's just another traditional country pub. Step inside, however, and you'll think again - it's a tale of two halves.
