A busy Thursday evening at the Queens Arms saw a showcase of local talent by artistes from as far away as Kent and Eastbourne clamouring to entertain the Brighton crowds.

Miss Fonda Cox gave a performance that would have Walt Disney spinning in his grave...less than Snow White.

The very lovely Trudi Styles (I swear I'm going to set up her fan club) gave her all as she invited everyone to have a dabble with her shiny box. An Avon demonstration has never been so fun. Another day, another make-over, as she brandished her blusher-brushes in her own original way. She even had time to take a 30 second sun-lamp session under the Queens Arms' stage lighting.

Myfanwy and Miss Dot Com had the audience jigging along, with the Armpits putting in their trio set. Sugar n Spice were conducting strict supervision of the event, albeit through a vodka haze.

The event was a Winter Pride fundraiser, and David Harvey, Chair of Pride, gave a short speech and introduced the stunning video of last year's parade. Well done to all involved!
