Not Just Desserts...
review How about a Sunday Roast at the PV, followed by to-DIE-for desserts, and round it all off with an afternoon of jazz... and to top it all off the whole thing's for charity!Pride was omnipresent at the PV on Sunday with little cards everywhere telling you that an optional £1 will be added to your food bill to go towards Pride, and with the PV staff doing their bit with buckets between songs. To say that a lovely afternoon was had by all would undersell it! I ate my way through a fabulous veggie roast (obviously meat options were available, and looked tempting even to me!), I managed to taste my way around at least three desserts (just don't even get me started!), and enjoyed a free afternoon of jazz and soul from the likes of Nikki & Nina, Matty Eeles, Indigo, Ponteio and Hannah Mawbey... all of this lot play regularly at the PV but this afternoon were doing a freebie for Pride. You're all stars! By the end of the proceedings the Pride bucket, needless to say, was heavy.
