What better way to make use of the extra hour than to pile down to Wild Fruit for a major Easter blow-out and... what? What d'you mean we LOST an hour? Oh bloody hell... well, easy come easy go I guess... anyway - had a great time at Fruit!

The theme seems to have been largely swallowed up by bunny-ears and Easter hotpants, but we still managed to find a few desperate housewives and sexy scrubbers in the crowd. The music (Paul Heron, Pete Haywood, Neil Duffie, Dulcie Danger, Richard Jones...), the production and the crowd were all First Class. And the fact that no-one had to get up in the morning just made it all the more special.

Clean Away those Bank Holiday Blues

Clean Away those Bank Holiday Blues

Cleaning ladies on stilts and cleaning men in… well, not much at all. Gigantic glittery boxes of washing powder hanging from the ceiling and carpet shampoo (well, foam) spraying across the crowd...
