Pain Relief...
review FTPA has become a big date on the monthly calendar for the gay/straight/whatever Indie community. Once again it was in its new home at the Candy Bar which is perfect in being small enough for a great atmosphere, big enough to drink and talk, but easy enough to rush to the dancefloor when you get those "Oh! It's that!" moments, of which there were plenty tonight.Don’t expect ear-to-ear 70s family wedding disco trash. Do expect lots of electroclash, indie favourites and retro rarities and lots of things which keep you dancing even though you can’t remember the name of the track, the band, or even whether you’ve heard it before at all... just that it sounds great! Which is how it should be. Everywhere.
