This year's Eurovision seems to have come out of nowhere... It surely hasn't been a year since the last one? It feels as though I've only just got over the hangover from the 2004 competition.

So Helena Paparizou from Greece took the coveted first place and the UK didn't get Nul Points but no-one seems to know how the winning song goes (or to care, particularly). Manchester Steve, our sweepstake winner, left the party with his little pot of gold coins and we all found ourselves at Revenge where the party was already in full swing by the time we arrived.

If Brighton is widely regarded as the gay capital of the UK, then Revenge is its Big Gay Cathedral. A whopping two floors of a club, giving you a choice of music music, decor and people. And with both floors being so big you can stand and chat by the bar without having to scream at each other over the music.
