A Wild, Fruity Kind of Night... Plenty!...

Sometimes rules are made to be broken. And tonight there was one rule that was destined to be broken from the very second it was conceived. Apparently, and do try to stifle your laughs for a moment, the Concorde has a 'shirts on' policy.
This is understandable since the Concorde is, after all, primarily a straight venue for live music. And shirts-off in a straight venue is often the prelude to horribly out-of-control testosterone-fueled brawls. Or so I'm told.
But tonight the Concorde had a distinctly more mixed crowd, where for some people keeping a shirt on is sheer torture. Can any REALBrighton regular imagine a whole photo story without a topless Glyn? I didn't think so. And tonight will be no different...

The monthly Wild Fruit is undoubtedly one of Brighton's clubbing institutions. Always glamorous, always packed and always great music from resident DJs Pete Haywood, Neil Duffie and friends. The night is often punctuated with stage acts, muscly dancers, regular live big name PAs and guest DJs such as local superstar DJ Norman Cook... it's NEVER a dull party! about Concorde 2

Okay, so you may have to walk a bit to reach it... but that just makes it that little bit more exclusive doesn't it! Located along Madeira Drive, the Concorde 2 is a sizeable venue with a huge variety of clubnights and bands on each month. Some top names, some great festivals, World Music... you name it.
