Canterbury delivered their first Pride, with nearly 1500 in attendance. A parade through the historical town centre, followed by a picnic in the park, with music and entertainment from one or two familiar faces, it was a great day out for all of Kent's gay and lesbian community to enjoy.

We'll see you all in 2006!

This is me enjoying Canterbury's first pride. I'm the one in the bow tie. The lady in front is my Mum so this was a real family outing.
three of the four organisers and a local councilor (is it my head or my bum that looks big in this hat?)
