A bit of a do...
review It wasn't really the Amsterdam's first birthday, as those of you who have become used to manager Alex's friendly welcome over the past few years will be aware. However, it's already been a year since the hotel/bar/sauna came under new ownership, so it was a great reason to have a bit of a do.We were entertained by Jerry and Dolores in an all-too-rare appearance on the Brighton circuit. Tonight, in deference to the sea-front location of the venue, they sported stripy bathing costumes (and I mean costumes) and charmed us with their unique style of luxury cabaret lounge entertainment which they perfected while cruising, before an unfortunate collision with Newhaven made them available for land-based audiences to appreciate. Thanks to Alex and all the staff for a fun evening with some very welcome platters of tempting food as well.
