review

There are few better places to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon than on the Amsterdam Terrace. The recently refurbished and rather lovely bar area provides a welcome cool break if you find the sun too much or if you'd rather sit down and watch than stand in the middle of it all.

All smile for the camera then!
I AM in this picture! Just... in the reflection behind Mark... And people say I'm never in my own photos.

about Amsterdam Bar & Bistro

The Amsterdam occupies a prime position on the seafront, overlooking the Brighton Pier (the one that's still standing) and in the heart of the busy St James' Street / Kemptown area. A hotel, bar and sauna all under one roof, with a prominant terrace at the front, its the natural place for everyone to make a beeline for the minute the sun peeks through the clouds in the summer.
