The Mr and Ms Pride Final, hosted by the Queens Heads' Jerome and ably assisted by Carlene Graham, was one long journey of twists and turns. Three sets of finalists turned into four. There were ambitions of travelling the world, working with children and, of course, cries through simpering smiles for World Peace.

In the end, the young and the beautiful won out, and our congratulations go to Natalie as Ms Pride and Owen as Mr Pride as they become ambassadors for the Pride Festival and get to appear in the Parade next Saturday.

GayFest is an album (in the shops out now, apparently!) that features a stella cast of divas, including the lovely Nikki "Total Eclipse of the Heart" French who came on with her album colleagues to give a taster of the tracks on the CD.

So... welcome to Pride 2005 - have a great, safe and fabulous time!
