Preston Park was positively bursting with fabulousness. The estimate is that there were about 70,000 people in the park at any one time, with around 120,000 passing through the park throughout the day. The atmostphere was fantastically laid-back... very little at all in the way of trouble and lots in the way of entertainment.

The Members Area was a new addition to the park this year. Rather than the exclusivity of the VIP area of previous years, this was an altogether friendlier affair. In order to enter the area you simply had to be a member of Pride. It was a great space to relax with delicious food (provided by the Queen's Head on a not-for-profit basis), a bar with next to no queue, its own toilets (hoorah!) and a stage with entertainment from Gaydar Radio all afternoon.
