What a waste to be by the sea if you don't spend at least some of the time looking out at it... and where better to meet a few friends, have a few beers and relax than on the Amsterdam terrace. Okay, so it was standing room only, but the atmostphere was great, the barstaff were smiling and lots of shirts were off, whch is obviously the main thing!

about Amsterdam Bar & Bistro

The Amsterdam occupies a prime position on the seafront, overlooking the Brighton Pier (the one that's still standing) and in the heart of the busy St James' Street / Kemptown area. A hotel, bar and sauna all under one roof, with a prominant terrace at the front, its the natural place for everyone to make a beeline for the minute the sun peeks through the clouds in the summer.
