eclectic-rock-kitsch-a-go-go...
review Brighton’s funkiest freak show never fails to delight. The Queen of Scene, Stephanie Starlet, joined the Dynamic Duo, Stu, Sal and Dolly for a manic party that lasted way into the wee hours.A horrendous game of sh*t lips left the lucky (?) winner (Dan from Hassocks) humiliated, showing his fruity underwear and smothered in cheap chocolate spread. The stunning cabaret from Stu and Dolly duly lowered the tone to basement level to suit the new premises. The unusual mix of eclectic-rock-kitsch-pop music keeps everyone on the dance floor, and the cheap tequila at its hangover-inducing price of £1.50 was flowing... mostly all over the floor, as clubbers missed their mouths. As a Boogaloo virgin since its move to downstairs Audio, I was expecting the cheap charm of upstairs to be lost. But new Boogers have arrived to fill the much larger floorspace and the night was, as ever, an excellent one.
