review Popping down to the underground lair that is Candy Bar is always been seen as a treat. However, not only did this Saturday lay a rather creamy base for our delights with the FTPA boys – DJ Wanker and A-Dam – but a veritable feast of sweet-ass treats provided by punky trash queens, Yr Mum & Ya Dad.With comparisons to Boy George and Leigh Bowery, these club kids took to the stage with an essence of riot, and a dress sense to scare small children up to the age of twelve. With an impromptu performance from K-Tron, The Candy Bar morphed into a mass of trashy indie kids, electrofreaks, and chic discopop chicks.
