The art at Brighton Rocks just gets better and better. Tonight was the unveiling of a new show by talented local photographer and all-round niceguy, Mark Vessey. His work ranges from gorgeous atmospheric long-exposure New York night scenes to the stark still life of a stack of Attitude magazines.

If you thought art launches were stuffy affairs then think again. The Brighton Rocks staff are perfect hosts, bringing round tray after tray of gorgeous nibbly things to tuck into between admiring the photographs. To further add to the atmosphere DJ Shaun was serving up chilled out tunes. The place was packed with friendly faces - some of whom I recognised from Mark's portrait series...
