Brighton's best...

Nothing Like A Dame...
review The answer probably wouldn't be obvious, if you were asked what Brighton has in common with the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. The answer is; the privilege to witness one of the best cabaret acts, for many a year, in the form of the D.E Experience. So, as you can imagine, Revenge was packed to the rafters for his triumphant return to Brighton after this year's Pride. With his usual blend of dynamic vocals, uncanny impersonations and that sometimes tasteless, but very funny, razor sharp wit, there was the makings of one hell of a show. From Sheryl Crow to Dusty Springfield, via Nat King Cole and Kate Bush along with some hilarious observations about what really goes on in the darkroom at XXL, D.E had the crowd eating out of his hand and obviously enjoying himself as much as they were. Overall, a cracking night with tunes from Nik C until 2am.
