review

The Star Inn threw open its doors to a big Halloween Ball and it was to some amazement that we found the big, hulking bar boys all dressed up to the nines in wigs and heels. I've heard some justifications in my time, but this takes the biscuit. Yep, for Halloween theming, it did the job... It scared the bejeezus out of us all!

The Star Inn just gets better and better and this afternoon was packed with men of all shapes, sizes and ages - all of whom were great fun and really friendly. Which is just as well with what we had to face over the bar. As a friend once commented on my Wonder Woman outfit at Pride: "Fabulous, darling... grotesque... but fabulous!"

about The Star Inn

A traditional boozer, The Star has everything a self-respecting man's man should want. Sport telly, pub grub and plenty of ales on tap - it's no wonder that this is now one of the firm favourites for bear and cub types from Brighton and beyond.
