Charles Street Turns Five!...
review
It’s not often a well-established club such as Charles Street offers free entry between its bar and club all night. But then again this was not just any night, but Charles’ St Bar & Club (or Envy as we knew it until last week) Fifth Birthday celebration!
With a heaving bar early on in the evening, it was no surprise that upstairs was soon packed to full capacity (and I mean full – try finding a space to dance!) as the night went on.
Now with its later license of 3am Thursday through to Saturday, the Club reeled in its clubbers who were seemingly more than willing to find an excuse to celebrate! With her majesty Queen Jo spinning the decks with funky, disco house, and a performance by Blind Date star diva Claudia Patrice, it seems a good night was had by all!
Here’s to another five years for Charles St Bar & Club!

about Queen Josephine
|
If there was such a thing as a run-of-the-mill queen then Queen Josephine wouldn't be one... Popular with both the boys and the girls (can one DJ have more groupies?), she has residencies at Mad Cow, Passion, Envy, Wet Pussy, Decent, Bring It On, Shameless Hussies and the Candy Bar. A girl that is rapidly gaining the respect of her deck-mates and the adoration of her crowds!
