Fundraising Mayhem...
review The Queens Head gang were doing their bit for World AIDS Day with a rather crazy series of gameshows. With the staff in drag (to varying stages of success), Dame Margot started off proceedings. Sophia Chesterfield then took over a bite-size morsel of her Saturday gameshow, Truth or Dare, which really should be called Truth and Dare. Poor unsuspecting audience members were dragged onstage for some serious humiliation, much to the delight of everyone else. After an altogether more civilised time with Spice's Millionaire (Guy took away a whole stack of CDs) Jamie Watson and Krissie Du Cann were up to sing their Pride single. To round off, Dame Margot gave an emotional speech about what Worlds AIDS Day means. There was an enormous raffle that was entirely supported by Prowler Brighton, in which there were plenty of saucy prizes to give away. I even managed to walk away with a rather lovely coffee-table book by Chi Chi La Rue. All money raised is going to Open Door.
