Upstairs, Downstairs was the order of the day as hidden mysteries bundled into the bar and club for the New Years' Eve Masked Ball.

Downstairs was refinement with Brighton's beautiful sipping on champers, while upstairs it was off onto the dancefloor for Queen Josephine on the decks.

The countdown began and at the onset of 2006 there was much air-kissing and the odd scream of 'happy new year' - "fabulous darling" (as hostess Joan Bond was saying to most people at the door...)
