Phil Starr Tribute Show...
review
Queens Arms had a top flight line-up for this fundraiser and tribute show tipping the hat to Phil Starr.
The lovely Dave Lynn was just finishing off his well-deserved encore when we arrived. Performances from the likes of Courtney King, Spice, Lee Tracey and Myfanwy and many more made this one heck of a cabaret-a-thon to a very appreciative audience. Funds raised went to St Mary's Church and the Shoreham Dogs Trust.

about Queen's Arms
|
The matriarch of Brighton's mixed pubs, the Queens Arms delves into her handbag every night of the week to serve up big, camp portions of live entertainment, special events and karaoke. By day, a more contemporary feel to the venue has led to a laid-back atmosphere by day where you can grab a drink and watch the big screens or browse the free newspapers on offer. The next Queen's Arms date for your diary:
Sunday, 31st August
Kitter Litter then Betty's Karaoke

about Phil Starr

It is with great sadness that we report Phil Starr's death on 18 October 2005. Phil was hugely loved by so many people in Brighton and far beyond. There was a great sense of shock around town as people try to come to terms with such a loss and many tributes have been made by a fan base that extended internationally.
