Big Prize Karaoke was the order of the day for this Sunday evening, with plenty of people getting up there in the hope of winning the big cash prize.

It's simple. Drink some beer, pick up the book. Drink some more beer to steady your nerves. Pick up the book again and look for the songs you know. Drink some more beer. Pick up the book, find a song slip and pen. Drink some more beer. Get the book back from whoever took it from your table while you were looking for the pen. Drink some more beer. Go to the bar. Try to find that song again. Drink some more beer. Try to focus on the song number which is now swimming before your eyes. Drink some more beer while you wait your turn. Get called up. Drink a quick slurp more beer. Stagger to the stage and completely embarrass yourself.

Got it?

Easy.

But with a rollover of £200 up for grabs, even I had a go.
