More photos from further along the walk, and some snaps from the party at the finish.
In addition to the sponsorship raised by the walkers, an amazing £1,000 was added to the total by the raffle at Charles Street.
Ben Summerskill took to the stage to remind us why Stonewall's work is so important leaving me a little disappointed that more Brighton walkers hadn't shown up...
He spoke of the need to put an end to homophobic bullying in schools and told us of two recent cases: One girl, on disclosing that she thought she might be gay now has to spend her PE classes sitting on a bench outside of the changing rooms. A young boy is relentlessly bullied at school and the school thinks the answer is to offer him a bodyguard.
We are lucky in our current stages of life in Brighton, but we forget so easily. When Stonewall returns next year it would be great to see more people supporting this extremely important organisation.
On a much brighter note (and a reminder of what has been achieved), the lovely Kirsten and Andrea got engaged at the after-walk party - bloody marvellous!
