Stonewall Equality Walk 2006...
review
An astonishing £31,000 was raised by the walkers in this year's event, which took volunteers along the seafront, down St James' Street and around the Pavilion before arriving for some bubbly at Charles Street.
The starting point was manned by a team of volunteers who obviously had crossed their fingers tight enough to ensure that the weather stayed lovely throughout the afternoon - against all predictions!
The first photos are from the starting point, with another set of photos below from the walk and the party afterwards...

While politics and community issues may seem like a distraction to partying the night away, lunching with friends or shopping for the latest designer gear, it is, nevertheless, imperative that everyone in the UK – gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or straight, makes time for an organisation such as Stonewall.
