An astonishing £31,000 was raised by the walkers in this year's event, which took volunteers along the seafront, down St James' Street and around the Pavilion before arriving for some bubbly at Charles Street.
The starting point was manned by a team of volunteers who obviously had crossed their fingers tight enough to ensure that the weather stayed lovely throughout the afternoon - against all predictions!
