review

GScene Magazine has been going strong for 12 years, and it was great to pop along to their birthday celebrations at Candy Bar to see all the familiar faces. The guest list included local businesses, politicians and the magazines many contributors and columnists. The invitation gave instructions for us all to bring a bear along and one of the Candy Bar recesses was quickly filled with cuddly toys of all shapes and sizes, destined for the local Children's Hospital. Guests were treated to drinks and a gorgeous buffet laid on by the Amsterdam.

No speeches - this was a time for celebration, laughter, a little bit of gossip and some rather smooth moves by Editor, James Ledward, on the dancefloor!

Happy Birthday GScene!
