The Honey Club’s popular twice-monthly Friday night, Honey, celebrated its second birthday last Friday. With its winning formula of quality house music, cheap entry and great drinks offers Honey always attracts a stylish, good looking and friendly crowd.
In its two years Honey and its residents, Lee Garrett and Ben Prok, have matured from their disco house beginnings to playing tougher electro house that the Honeyclub crowd just can’t get enough of. The main room climaxed with a superb set from the charismatic, bandana-clad, dreadlocked Jonathan Ulysses who brought us an irresistible groove straight from an Ibizan dance floor!
Special mention goes to the success story of the night the Big & Filthy boys who took control of the back room. In only their second gig they absolutely rocked it with huge bass lines that threatened to break the speakers and euphoric breakdowns creating an electrifying atmosphere packing out the room for most of the night. Someone give these guys the big stage they deserve!
