And it is at this point that I should provide you with a detailed run-down of the evening, but really... I mean... you know the score. Eight men come on stage with next to nothing on at all, and four hundred people spend a couple of hours pretending that they wish they'd entered themselves. But it takes a certain strength of character [madness, surely? Ed] to get up in front of such a critical audience.
 
A good night, of course, was had. There was plenty of cheering, clapping and general support for a fine bunch of lads. And number eight, it seems, tickled the judges fancy more than the rest of them. Notable entrants included last year's winner Myles, and possibly one of the oldest entrants for a while, Andy, at 39 years! The winner was number 8.
