Sharp Boys at Revenge...
review
Regarded as two of the biggest and most popular DJs on the London gay scene, the Sharp Boys are that rare thing - gay DJs who also cross over to the straight clubs as well, having recently played a well recieved set at the Honeyclub, doing the legendary Radio One Essential Mix and remixing the likes of Madonna, Britney Spears, Diana Ross, George Michael, Gloria Estefan, Craig David, Kylie Minogue, Aretha Franklin, The Backstreet Boys, Faithless, Moby, Mary J Blige, Janet Jackson and Pink.
Revenge had the privilage of them taking the time out of their ridiculously busy schedule with a set lasting over five hours and, after a fantastic warm-up set from Small Sam, they lived up to their reputation - playing a flawless mix of the most cutting edge funky and electro house you will hear in a gay club outside of the capital.
With other London favourites Per QX, D'Johnny and The Oli lined up for the coming months, it looks like Revenge will be the place to find some of the best house music in Brighton.
